Livestock producers join call to suspend RFS

In Washington, calls to end the RFS ethanol blending mandates have been echoed beyond policymakers and are now being pushed by livestock producers who are saying that the drought in the Midwest are causing undue harm to their industries by pushing up animal feed prices which is being worsened by demand for ethanol. Producers are asking President Obama to suspend the RFS2 in whole or in substantial part for 12 months.
