South African Airways targets 50% biofuels by 2020

In South Africa, South African Airways says that it wants to achieve 50% use of aviation biofuels by 2020. The expectation is that the policy shift for the state-owned company will create sufficient demand to spark local production. The country’s energy department has been slow in approving a biofuel policy for road transport.
