Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 61.08 as advanced biofuels, large caps gain

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped up 1.43 percent to 61.08 as advanced biofuels and large caps gained.  For the day, Lignol (LEC.V) jumped 30.77 percent to $0.09, while Amyris (AMRS)  escalated 4.38 percent to $4.05. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) rallied 26.60 percent to $5.95 on strong Q2 earnings. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 3 for the day.
