Biofuels Digest Index slips to 61.75 as ethanol stocks retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.23 percent to 61.75 as ethanol stocks retreated.  For the day, Syntroleum (SYNM) gained 5.41 percent to $0.78, while Codexis (CDXS) recovered 2.16 percent to $2.36. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) rallied another 1.57 percent to $6.46 on strong Q2 earnings. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
