Cereplast racks up $3.9 million loss for Q2 2012

In California, Cereplast announced their net loss for the three months ending June 30, 2012 was approximately $3.9 million as compared to $2.4 million for the same period in 2011. Net loss for the first six months of 2012 was approximately $6.7 million as compared to approximately $4.1 million for the first six months of 2011.

Net sales for the three months ended June 30, 2012 were approximately $190,000, compared to $7.6 million for the same period in 2011. Net sales for the first six months of 2012 totaled $293,000 as compared to $14.9 million for the first six months of 2011.
