Biofuels Digest Index flat at 61.71 despite advanced biofuels slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, was flat at 61.71 as advanced biofuels dipped again but large caps were steady. For the day, Syntroleum (SYNM) fell 6.33 percent to $0.74, while Novozymes (NZMB) rose 2.53 percent to $27.53. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) slipped back 3.05 percent to $4.77 after a strong rally early in the week. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
