Canadian Government Gives $500 million to help Small Businesses Produce Next Generation Biofuels

In Canada, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) has created a $500 million funding program called the SD Tech Fund to support small business including next generation biofuel producers. Using Canadian government funds, the program supports up to 40% of eligible project costs not to exceed $200M to create first-of-kind large demonstration-scale next generational renewable fuel facilities.
