Biofuels Digest Index slips to 63.67 as large caps retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.38 percent to 63.67 as large caps retreated. For the day, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) rocketed up another 28.57 percent to $1.80, while OriginOIl (OOIL) soared 12.63 percent to $1.07. Among other equities, Dupont (DD) slid 1.61 percent to $50.23. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 6 for the day.
