Biofuels Digest Index soars to 68.70 as ethanol equities spike

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, soared 3.98 percent to 68.70 as ethanol continued again its remarkable rally.  For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) rocketed up another 40.09 percent to $8.98, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) surged 19.05 percent to $0.50. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) soared 8.90 percent to $8.44. Overall, advances led declines 10 to 3 for the day.
