Renewable Energy Group joins fight to protect the RFS

In Iowa, Renewable Energy Group (REG) has joined in the fight to protect the RFS, calling on the EPA to leave the RFS in place as the ethanol industry is already struggling with meeting national biofuel production goals. In an interview with AOL Energy, REG CEO David Oh advocated that “reducing the requirement for ethanol production could undermine confidence among producers of other biofuels that the government will underpin demand for their products which are linked to food output.”
