US ethanol production falls to 797K barrels per day

In Washington, the Energy Information Administration said that ethanol production dropped in the past week. According to EIA data, ethanol production averaged 797,000 barrels per day (b/d) – or 33.47 million gallons daily. That is down 3,000 b/d from the week before. The 4-week average for ethanol production stood at 798,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 12.23 billion gallons. Imports totaled 122,000 b/d for the week–the highest level since EIA began tracking weekly imports in June 2010. Stocks of ethanol stood at 19.0 million barrels.
