In Canada, Milligan Biotech has recently changed its name to Milligan Biofuels, following tremendous success in the Canadian biofuels industry. Primarily a producer of canola-based products, particularly biodiesel, the company has experienced a 700% demand increase in the domestic market since 2001, when it first began commercializing biodiesel. Milligan’s process uses damaged and off-grade canola seed, and offers products such as diesel fuel conditioner, penetrating oil, road dust suppressant, rust inhibitor, and an asphalt release agent, as well as biodiesel.
