Biofuels Digest Index plunges to 61.73 as Dupont takes a tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, plunged 2.22 percent to 61.73 as large caps fell. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 3.17 percent to $9.16, while Amyris (AMRS) lost 6.87 percent to $2.44. Among other equities, Dupont (DD) plummeted 9.06 percent to $45.25. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
