Ohio researchers hope to have algae biodiesel profitable in three years

In Ohio, researchers at the University of Toledo are looking for ways to make algae biofuel production economically viable, a feat they say is about three years away. The idea is to co-locate with wastewater streams and are even looking at water run-off from farms that include high levels of nutrients but can be damaging to waterways.
