NCERC only needs $2.5 million to get add-on technology to commercial scale

In Illinois, the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Center says that it will take another $1.8 million to $2.5 million to get this through the remaining steps of R&D to take its technology to produce ethanol from the fibrous portion of the kernel from lab scale to commercial scale. The technology is an add-on that could be used at any existing corn ethanol plant.
