Illinois River Energy invests in corn oil and CHP

In Illinois, Illinois River Energy ethanol plant in Rochelle invested $3.3 million to install corn oil production capacity. The company has also installed CHP capacity, allowing it to produce 25% of its energy demand while reducing its energy consumption by 30% and water consumption by 20%.
