Biofuels Digest Index drops to 62.73 as advance biofuels flag

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.20 percent to 62.73 as advanced biofuels plunged. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) sunk 7.20 percent to $2.45, while Solazyme (SZYM) lost 4.08 percent to $7.75. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) recovered 5.37 percent to $5.89. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 3 for the day.
