Biofuels Digest Index drops to 66.65 as advanced biofuels wane

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, shed 0.85 percent to 66.65 as advanced biofuels tumbled. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) sunk 7.13 percent to $3.78, while Solazyme (SZYM) dropped 4.65 percent to $7.56. Among other equities, Valero (VLO) rallied 2.77 percent to $36.79. Overall, advances led declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
