UK company installs UCO biodiesel facility for Caritas in Bali

In Indonesia, Caritas Switzerland commissioned a 3,000 liter per day used cooking oil to biodiesel facility for the island of Bali from the UK’s Green Fuels. Currently the oil is disposed in rivers or cleaned with chemicals for cooking. About 1,000 liters per day is currently being collected by Caritas from 150 restaurants and hotels to supply the project. Green Fuels has also supplied similar biodiesel facility in Pretoria, South Africa and in Melbourne, Australia.
