Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 69.86 as ethanol equities sizzle

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 1.03 percent to 69.86 as ethanol equities recovered. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) sagged 3.62 percent to $2.93, while Cosan (CZZ) gained 3.47 percent to $20.58. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) advanced 2.78 percent to $2.73. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
