Biofuels Digest Index rises to 71.72 as ethanol, enzymes recover

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rose 1.19 percent to 71.72 as ethanol and enzymes recovered.  For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 10.53 percent to $0.42, while Codexis (CDXS) rocketed up 9.87 percent to $2.56.  Among other equities, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) jumped 10.02 percent to $5.60. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
