UK farmers better poised to provide sustainable feedstock

In the UK, a review led by the Home Grown Cereals Authority of regional greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions figures has reopened market opportunities in the biofuels supply chain potentially worth several million pounds each year. Revised GHG figures, supplied by HGCA, have been approved by the European Commission (EC) and can be used by biofuel suppliers when reporting under the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO).
