Republican Senators want answers on protecting consumers from rising RINs

In Washington, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), top Republican on the Environment and Public Works Committee, and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Ranking Member of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, asked Gina McCarthy, nominee to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to outline how she will protect American citizens from rising gas prices due to the rising cost of ethanol Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs).
