In Washington, leadership from the Energy and Commerce Committee have released a white paper seeking input on what happens when excess biofuel is available on the market than is necessary to meet the mandated 10% ethanol blend. Both Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) and Ranking Member Henry Waxman (D-CA) collaborated for the development of the white paper, and Committee Spokeswoman Charlotte Baker indicated that “the committee will seek input from all interested stakeholders.”
