Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 70.44 as advanced biofuels rise

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged up 0.44 percent to 70.35 as advanced biofuels gained.  For the day, Gevo (GEVO) rose 4.15 percent to $2.26, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) fell 2.78 percent to $0.35. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) declined 1.59 percent to $8.05. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
