Petrojam seen dehydrating 32 million gallons of ethanol in 2013 but at a loss

In Jamaica, after four years of silence, the Petrojam ethanol dehydration facility is running once again and is expected to operate 300 days this year after starting back up in December. It is expected to dehydrate 32 million gallons of ethanol under a tolling agreement. The new deal however is having a negative effect on the company’s bottom line due to higher production costs associated with the tolling agreement.
