Biofuels Digest Index drops to 74.30 as large caps and ethanol equities decline

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.58 percent to 74.30 as large caps and ethanol equities declined. For the day, OriginOil (OOIL) plunged 20.97 percent to $0.49 , while Monsanto (MON) fell 4.12 percent to $100.60. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) surged 4.50 percent to $12.32. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 4 for the day.
