Viridis Energy loss shrinks to $753,000 for first quarter of 2013

In Canada, Viridis Energy reported a comprehensive loss loss of $753,000 during the 1st quarter of 2013, a decrease from the $1.2 million loss in the same quarter of 2012. Revenue for Q1 2013 was $2.3 million, compared to $2.4 million for Q1 2012. Gross profit increased to $336,000 or 15% of revenue in the first quarter of 2013 from $151,000 or 6% of revenue in the first quarter of 2012.  Viridis Energy is a cleantech alternative energy company specializing in wood biomass.
