Oil World sees veg oil prices continuing to fall on soy and sunflower surplus

In Germany, Oil World says that vegetable oil and fats prices are expected to fall on slower demand for biodiesel mixed with increased soy and sunflower oils. Consumption globally is seen at 192.9 million metric tons in 2013/14, up from 187.6 million tons in 2012/13, compared to production of 193.8 million tons, up from 187.3 million tons. Soy oil and soybean futures have fallen 11% during the past year due to the global surplus.
