Del Monte piggybacks on McDonald’s UCO biodiesel program in UAE

In the UAE, Del Monte is replicating McDonald’s waste cooking oil biodiesel program and is running 20 of its logistical vehicles in the country on the fuel. Its entire fleet will run on biodiesel by the end of the year. Neutral Fuels converts the used cooking oil from the McDonald’s restaurants in the UAE to produce and supply the biodiesel. Doing so reduces Del Monte’s carbon emissions for its fleet by 80%.
