BioProcess Algae visited by Tom Latham (R-IA) and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture

In Iowa, BioProcess Algae had a visit from Iowa Congressman Tom Latham and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey at the Green Plains Renewable Energy facility. Latham said, “I think this algae plant is unique – it’s the only place in the world this is happening. Its value added plan to grow algae from CO2 waste from the ethanol plant is incredibly innovative. Shenandoah is a well-kept secret…at this point.” Latham also indicated that he is in awe of the tremendous potential for growth and investment opportunities, and sees the possibility of tying this type of algae farming into coal plants.
