Canadian greenhouse co-locates with ethanol plant to use heat and CO2

In Canada, Truly Green Farms has co-located its greenhouse for growing tomatoes near the Greenfield Ethanol plant in order to take advantage of its waste heat and CO2. The first phase of the project represents 22.5 acres of greenhouses where the first crop has just been planted. The second of four phases is planned for the next year or so.
