Noble Americas South Bend Ethanol purchases shuttered New Energy plant in Indiana

In Indiana, a former New Energy plant has been purchased by Noble Americas South Bend Ethanol (NASBE), and will restart in late 2013 or early 2014. South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg said of the plant, the longest-running in Indiana: “We are pleased that this firm has chosen South Bend as the right place to make this investment. Throughout this process, we have wanted to see this plant operated, not liquidated, employing residents in the new economy.”
