Blending E10 saved Ethiopia $7.6 million in foreign exchange last year

In Ethiopia, blending 10% ethanol helped the country save $7.6 million in foreign exchange during the last fiscal year. More than 8.6 million liters of domestically-produced ethanol were blended during the period. The government plans to achieve 25% ethanol blending nationwide that would require 64.4 million liters. Since E5 blending began in 2008, the country has used 39.2 million liters of ethanol, saving $30.9 million.
