Investigation into ethanol price collusion goes to next stage

In India, the country’s competition commission has referred to the Director General of Investigation the complaints from chemicals and drinks companies that members of the Indian Sugar Mills Association or the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited colluded on ethanol pricing during auctions. As many as 12 mills had been accused of collusion previously by the liquor industry.
