Biofuels Digest Index drops to 67.37 as advanced biofuels slump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.30 percent to 67.37 as advanced biofuels slumped. For the day, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) dropped 6.96 percent to $14.03, while Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) lost 3.69 percent to $15.66. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) shed 9.05 percent to $2.11. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
