Brazilian exports to US fall by half during September

In Brazil, there are expectations that ethanol imports from the US will soar during the inter-crop period beginning in December, but already exports to the US are beginning to slow. Exports during September halved to just 139.4 million liters, down 51% on August and 53% from September 2012. Exports to the US represented about 47% of ethanol shipped during the month.
