Biodiesel cargo for 38,000 tons fixed from US Gulf Coast to Europe

In Texas, a shipment of 38,000 metric tons of biodiesel has been fixed from the US Gulf Coast to Europe where it is expected to be blended with diesel and then sent off to Africa or Asia, rather than staying in Europe where high countervailing duties make US imports unattractive. The ship is set for loading on Nov. 10 at $25.64 per ton.
