Platts says US ethanol still getting to Europe under low-blend loophole

In New York state, new analysis from Platts says that lower-level blends of US ethanol is still getting into Europe through a loophole. The theory is that blends just under the 50% ethanol threshold are shipped from the US to Norway, a non-EU member state but with similar trade relations under the European Free Trade Area, and then from Norway into Europe.
