Branstad, Grassley rally at Iowa’s “Defend the RFS” event

In Iowa, Governor Terry Branstad, Lt. Gov Kim Reynolds, Senator Chuck Grassley, Representative Steve King, and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey joined the RFS Coalition urging the Obama Administration and the EPA to restore stronger blending levels for 2014 at the “Defend the RFS” event at Lincolnway Energy. Branstad rallied the crowed, reminding attendees that “over 44,000 jobs are in jeopardy based on one proposal by the EPA, and we must work together to protect these jobs.” Grassley followed by encouraging: “The federal government made a commitment to renewable energy, and the EPA is undermining the commitment.”
