Global Bioenergy Partnership tests sustainability standard, pushes wood energy development

In the UN, the Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP) has released their newsletter, which highlights the organization’s new Working Group on Capacity Building’s efforts to expand capacity of sustainable wood energy development.

Additionally, the partnership has tested their GBEP sustainability indicators and will continue to improve upon them according to the results of a commissioned report on them. The newsletter also discusses the Bioenergy How2Guide, which the organization hopes to develop this coming year.
