MakerBot introduces six new MakerBot PLA filament colors

In New York, MakerBot is introducing six new MakerBot PLA filament colors this week to expand its selection of colors to 23 PLA filament options. The new MakerBot colors are True Green, Neon Green, Neon Pink, Neon Orange, Sparkly Dark Blue and Sparkly Dark Black. MakerBot PLA Filament is a bioplastic derived from corn. Every filament color is comprehensively quality tested at both 100-micron and 200-micron layer resolutions on the MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer to verify that the filament will perform every feature that MakerBot MakerWare software offers and reliably slice and print every type of printing.
