Specialty Enzymes introduces new proteases to aid in pet food processing and palatability

In California, Specialty Enzymes & Biotechnologies has launched a new line of enzymes for the hydrolysis of plant and animal proteins in several applications, including the production of dog and cat foods. FlavorSEB L is one product offered by Specialty Enzymes, which produces hydrolysates with improved flavor profiles to aid in palatability.

The new line of proteases offered by Specialty Enzymes includes products that work under different pH and temperature conditions, depending on the client’s operating parameters.
