EnviTec Biogas turns itself around despite challenging market environment

In Germany, EnviTec Biogas reports that they have successfully turned around the company after great uncertainty about the future legal framework, demand for biogas plants in Germany has declined sharply in 2013. In response to this trend, EnviTec Biogas cut its costs significantly and pushed ahead its international expansion.

As a result, the supplier of biogas plants and services from Lower Saxony managed to turn around in the course of the year and again reported growing sales revenues as well as a positive result in the third quarter. Sales revenues increased from EUR 33.5 million and EUR 35.3 million in the first and second quarter, respectively, to EUR 38.6 million in the period from August to October.
