Le Sueur anaerobic digestion plant is expected to reach full production in the next two to three months

In Minnesota, the Albert Lea Tribune reports that the Le Sueur anaerobic digestion plant is in its startup phase, and is expected to reach full production within two to three months. The plant will supply 8MWe, using manure and corn silage as feedstock. The plant was built at a cost reported to be approximately $45 million, and is owned by the Minnesota Municipal Power Agency, but will be managed by Avant Energy.
