EPA releases 2013 Renewable Volume Obligation data

In Washington, the EPA says that only 9% of the 6 million gallons Renewable Volume Obligation of cellulosic ethanol and diesel D7 RINs were generated during 2013, while advanced biofuels did barely better with just 39% of the D5 RVO achieved. Ethanol production hit 97% of its target while biodiesel hit 140%, of which 20% will be rolled over into 2014, leaving 20% to weigh on the D4 prices.
