North Dakota farmers sought to push energy beet project forward

In North Dakota, the push to grow energy beets for ethanol production is moving forward with a series of informational meetings for farmers being held in five cities around the state this week. The meetings are meant to help determine farmer interest in growing energy beet so Fargo-based Green Vision Group and Iowa-based Heartland Renewable Energy can decide where best to locate the first ethanol plant.
