Biofuels Digest Index tumbles to 72.52

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, tumbled 3.05 percent to 72.52 following a 3 for 2 stock split by The Andersons. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) plunged 21.43 percent to $0.22, while Ceres (CERE) was off 5.33 percent to $1.42. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) dropped 4.23 percent to $24.70. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
