Feed analysts predict ethanol boom thanks to cheap corn

In Illinois, in about-face to the doom and gloom of recent months regarding the future of ethanol production and consumption in the US, feed analysts now expect demand for US corn ethanol exports to jump due to the exceptionally low price of corn at the moment. They also expect domestic demand to increase with the support of a renewed RFS, which in their analysis could lead to production reaching installed capacity and driving the need for additional investment.
