Singapore goes after biodiesel producers using waste trap grease

In Singapore, grease from waste traps at restaurants is making its way to biodiesel producers for use as feedstock, which goes against national law. The National Environmental Agency is investigating cases of the trade, circumventing current laws that require waste oil to be collected by licensed operators and then disposed in a water reclamation plant run by the national water agency.
